Notepad Replacements

Although it’s fine for jotting down notes, and doing other things, Windows Notepad hasn’t been updated since at least Windows 3.1. Yikes!

If you’re sick of Notepad, there are many free alternatives. I use metapad, but if you Google notepad alternatives, you’ll get a load of ones — try some out, see which one suits you best.

    Well, you can sure google, but which one is better? I suggest try TED Notepad (a very good “metapad replacement”, see :), or take it to another level like notepad2.. These are my two cents..
